John Cali Joseph is always reminding us we are all goddesses and gods in human form. Recently, a good friend of ours, Phyllis Swenson, sent me a letter requesting that Joseph devote an issue of the newsletter to this subject. Because, as she said, she sometimes forgets who she really is. Don’t we all? Here’s Phyllis’ letter: Hi John, I was wondering if I can make a request to Chief Joseph to speak to us in a future (newsletter) covering the topic of our God/Goddess natures. That is a subject that has always inspired me. I know a lot of people forget that in the Bible Jesus said "Ye are Gods." I know I often have a tendency to forget, when things get rough, about my Goddess nature. So, if Chief Joseph would honor us sometime in the near future by reminding us we are Gods, and especially (of) the fact we are Gods at play and not slaves to the trials and tribulations of life, it would certainly be a wonderful wakeup call . . . . Thanks, John. Have a joyful day. Blessings, Phyllis Chief Joseph Most of you take your lives far too seriously. You’re supposed to be having fun. And yet few of you have fun, at least consistently. Your only purpose in life is to seek joy. Period! And you are totally free to do that, regardless of how positively or negatively you view your current circumstances. You are totally free! You can make whatever choices you want. And the choices you make today will determine your reality tomorrow. Yesterday has nothing to do with today–or tomorrow. All your power, all of it, is in this present moment. You cannot relive yesterday or preview tomorrow. Because, even if you try, you’re still doing it today. So it’s important, essential even, you see yourselves as powerful creators–goddesses and gods. But only in the now. For you cannot create except in the now, the present moment. Yesterday and tomorrow, past and future, have no hold, no power over you. Ever! God, the Great Spirit, All That Is–whatever term you prefer–creates only in the eternal now. In these dimensions where we spirits dwell, there is no time except the present moment, the eternal now. And, really, that’s all you have even in human form on your planet earth. Despite the illusion of time with its apparent past, present, and future. It’s all now! And that’s where all your power is–now! So you might as well have fun. God or Goddess has fun all the "time." It’s fun to be consciously at the forefront of creation, of creating this changing, constantly evolving Universe we all live in. Your human lives are but a blink of eternity. Do not take them so seriously. Have fun. Laugh. Play. Be passionate. Be as a little child. When you do, you’ll discover more and more of the incredible creative energies you have within you. You will never again need to go outside yourselves to create exactly the reality you want. It’s all a game. It’s a big party. Have fun. It’s not serious! And it’s not permanent. It will pass quickly. Then, before you know it, you’ll be back in spirit form. Ready and raring to go for yet another party. You’ll never stop growing. Life, physical and non-physical, will never stop changing. So enjoy the journey. It’s all you have.
