How Do You Uncreate Something You Do Not Want? by John Cali and Spirit

I have told you that you create your dreams, in actuality, not in theory alone. You create an actuality, a dream universe, as real as the physical universe. It simply cannot be directly perceived within the physical universe. ~ Seth, as channelled by Jane Roberts

One of our readers, in response to our recent post, Being Happy Is Simple and Easy, wrote us last week. He was asking about something Spirit said in that post:

Anything other than what is real is just a passing illusion. Sickness, poverty, “bad” relationships, death, war, disharmony, dis-ease — these are all illusions, albeit illusions you created. But you can “uncreate” them in the blink of an eye.

Here’s the reader’s letter:

Hi John,

Thank you and Spirit for your clarification what is real and what is illusion. With regard to the latter Spirit inform us “But you can uncreate them in the blink of an eye”. We would appreciate detailed information from Spirit exactly how to uncreate something you do not want but had already created.

While I wasn’t sure exactly what Spirit meant in using the word “uncreate,” here’s part of my reply to the reader:

I think Spirit was saying if you take your attention from something that’s bothering you or not working for you, then it no longer exists for you. It may exist for someone else, but it’s no longer in your world.

Here’s what Spirit said when I asked them to expand on this.

Spirit

We would agree with John’s reply. As he asked, we will expand upon that reply.

Let’s begin by reminding you who you really are — all of you.

We know you’ve heard this before, but many of you still have not “got it.” You are God, the Creator. Period. It’s that simple.

When you understand that, not just intellectually or “in theory,” but when you fully integrate that fact into your awareness, into your conscious daily lives — then you will arrive at what will be, for many of you, a totally new and empowered place.

You often give God or Goddess or Divine Energy — pick whatever name you like — credit (or blame) for all your life experiences, “good” or “bad.” None of  your experiences are either good or bad. They’re just part of the path you’ve chosen in this lifetime.

Every experience, no matter how you judge it, will take you one step closer to home, to full conscious awareness. So it’s all good.

Now, if you have that level of power, you can — and you do — create all the time. You create either deliberately (if you’re living your life consciously) or you create by default (if you’re living your life unconsciously).

This is important:
You create it all. And you can “uncreate” anything you wish.

There is no one else on the planet who sees anything exactly the same as you do. No one. Yes, you all agree on your perception of certain events — for example, a war. You agree to see it together, assuming you all see the same thing. But that is simply not true.

Our friend Seth 1/ talks about two different endings to the event you named World War 2. One ended in a nuclear holocaust that destroyed your world. The other ended in the way your history books depicted.

Which ending those alive at the time experienced was entirely up to them. This was not in every case a fully conscious choice, but a choice nonetheless. They experienced whatever their beliefs and focus directed them toward.

Could they have “uncreated” their experience and chosen an alternate reality? Absolutely yes. You all do it almost every night in the dream state.

We may discuss this further another time.

“There is no out there.” ‘There is no stand alone universe.’ In one of Richard Bach’s later books, he & his lover where flying over ever changing shifting colors of all the versions of different earth realities. It presented a fairly decent visual expression of shifting into different realities.
I play games of wondering which reality I’ve woken up into each day; or walk into – classroom to classroom, as I teach. Which version of my husband will I come home to. I aim to keep my vibrations high on that one.
Playing with it is useful as its not easy to wrap my mind around those concepts and feel my way into them. Going about my day I usually don’t have those thoughts in my mind. I can at times get a perspective on what’s about me by telling myself, ‘This is a Source creation’ as I drive home at rush hour. I tell myself, & feel my way into it, as I remind myself that each Source manifestation (including me) driving the cars is perceiving the world out there through their own eyes: There are several thousand Stevenson Expressways being created at 4: 30 pm. “What!?!?” Each moment is freshly derived/ created from Source – from which is where instant healing probably comes. (What the *@#!^ BEEP just came to mind as a visual aide.)
During the times I find myself easing into those concepts, if I start tripping over my mind, I simply laugh and remind myself that it doesn’t matter, as long as I love each and every moment & manifestation in that moment I “find” myself in – oops am creating.
Loving all in each moment – that’s it. That is all we have to do. At some level we already “get it”. When its important to our earth creation we will automatically “get it.’ Though it is nice to be aware, and challenged by such concepts. It eases my guilt in knowing that in several of my reality versions my dishes are clean and I have drunk juiced vegetables instead of eating my ice cream.
The Basher video did bother me at first – this is the second time I’ve seen it. In day to day many of us are working to improve the world, and to be told that we don’t improve the world, we only vote with our “feet” and move to another world, was disturbing to me. However I thought if enough vote with their “feet” there would be no one left in certain parallel realities. In anyone given day how many times do we shift about??
When President Obama won the last election, that was one time I knew I had shifted realities, because up till then all the metaphysical predications I had come across where saying he would lose.
As best I can, I play with what information I have sent to myself, and as best as I can I unconditionally love all the Me that is manifesting about, and within me. ♥ Margaret Frances

Thanks very much, Margaret, for your thoughts and perceptions. I find what you said quite fascinating.

What struck me most among your words was this:”Loving all in each moment – that’s it. That is all we have to do….”

You reminded me of what Eckhart Tolle once said: “The only thing that is ultimately real about your journey is the step that you are taking at this moment. That’s all there ever is.”

Ah, the subject of parallel realities again. I guess it will remain the one topic I’ll always disagree with your interpretation of Spirit about.

While I find it easy to follow intellectually, that deep resonance feeling is just not there. It doesn’t feel good/satisfying/enlivening to me – the indication of alignment with what Source knows about the subject.

So I’ll just go by my own readings on this, which perfectly match what e. g. Abraham-Hicks have to say about it. And it’s very different from the way science fiction authors Jane Roberts and Darryl Anka have presented it.

For me, WW2 never ended in a destruction of our world – not in this reality or in any other physically manifested reality. Because the Well-Being of our world isn’t tended to from the human perspective – it’s being tended to from much broader perspective, a perspective so many times more powerful and influential than what we came here for to create. Our world never has been, nor will it ever be “in peril”.

There will always be pockets of contrast in various parts of the world that you might participate in but…

There is this infinite stream of Well-Being that permeates everything, and we as the creators of our reality can make a choice whether we allow it to flow in our lives, or temporarily pinch ourselves off of it a little bit. But even if we do the latter, even if we all did it at the same time – the Well-Being of our planet, of our world, would still be dominant. Because controlling that was – fortunately, I might add – never our intention, and at the end of the day, our broader intentions, or focus, still rule the day – even if we have choose to have a bad one.

Yes, you are the creator of your reality, and we all create our own reality, but that doesn’t mean the outcome of a world event like WW2 depends on our individual focus or belief – our level of participation within the event does. Our own experience of it does.

You might only read about it in the papers. You may be a soldier fighting in France, or die in Hiroshima. Or live in an area where you’re completely unaffected by all of it. Your personal experience, or reality, will be vastly different depending on what you give your attention to (which equals your focus/your beliefs) – but the world will go on, as well-being always prevails.

Just providing this alternative viewpoint for those that – like me – don’t fully resonate with Seth’s explanation.

Thank you John for making me ponder the subject once again!

    • John Cali

Nothing wrong with disagreeing, beachdrifter. None of us see “reality,” whatever that is, in exactly the same way as anyone else.

I agree with most of what you say — our world is not imperiled, and never was. While that may sound crazy in view of the chaos in our modern world, I believe God or the Divine see what we call tragedies or disasters in a totally, radically different way from our limited, human vision. As you say, and as Abraham says, well-being is dominant — always has been, always will be.

As I see it, beachdrifter, you and I (and Spirit) aren’t that far apart in our views. If we agreed on everything then — as the old saying goes — one of us is not necessary. 🙂

Thank you, beachdrifter, for also making me ponder this subject again. It’s been a subject that’s fascinated me since childhood. And I always welcome the opportunity to visit other people’s perspectives of it.

      Have a great weekend!

        Hi John,

thank you so much for your wise words!!!

Let’s get practical about this: Let’s say a loved one has had an accident, and it looks like she’s not going to make it (or has already died)…

Since “You create it all. And you can “uncreate” anything you wish.”: Would Spirit advise you to tune into a different reality, where the accident never happened (or where the person survives the accident)… or not? And if not, why not?

        • John Cali

          Hi beachdrifter,

You’re very welcome — and thank YOU for your always-thoughtful and thought-provoking messages.

Good question. I believe that’s entirely possible. But I also believe all experiences we have (even so-called accidents, or even death) are always for our highest good. My own personal policy is to do my best to see everything as I think God would see it. That, by itself, relieves most of the stress and trauma we, as humans, impose upon ourselves.

Do you believe in parallel realities? Can you travel from one reality to another?

Wow, exactly how does one answer that simply? Given the dream state as mentioned, the answer has to be “yes” because when one dreams (either awake or asleep) you are looking at something not a part of your daily life, right?

Then again, I just see it all as a continuum. I’m not certain that I could define exactly what a “parallel reality” might be. We each left “parts” of our unique selves along the way in our journey here to Earth. We need to reintegrate those parts as we ascend. We knew that on our way here, so is that a “parallel reality” or simply a continuum? Does it matter?

I’m interested in what others will say here.
    Blessings to all.

Thanks very much, Mikala, for your thoughtful comments.

I too am interested in what others have to say.

Thank you John for anther insightful message. I too loved Seth and I also think Bashar is wonderful. Your messages always bring me so much peace.
I got very sick about 2 years ago, and when I started to recover there was a point when I knew something about the way I view my world was very different and that because of that my world had actually changed-that I was different too. I have come to believe that I made a shift to a parallel universe or reality or something☺️I love what Spirit said about unchanging reality and would love them to continue with their thoughts on creation in the dreamtime. Loads of love,
    Cathy

    • John Cali

You’re most welcome, Cathy. Thanks so much for your kind words.

And thank you for sharing your experiences. I know what you mean about a shift to a parallel universe or reality. I’ve experienced that shift a number of times over the years. Interestingly, I see it clearly only in hindsight, not while it’s happening.

We may well continue this topic later.

      Love and hugs,
      John
