A few weeks ago, I was jogging up in the foothills south of my home. It was a typically beautiful Wyoming summer morning after a rainy night — clear blue sky, a few puffy white clouds, and a cool breeze bearing the intoxicating scent of sagebrush still wet with raindrops.
