I live in what is arguably one of the most beautiful places on the planet—in Wyoming, just outside Yellowstone National Park. It’s a land filled with vast open spaces, big blue skies, majestic snowcapped mountains. And yet some days, I fail to see the beauty all around me—usually because I’m not paying attention.

This week we’re continuing our question-and-answer series.

Question:

I think I once heard Abraham (Hicks) say that when someone is victim in a life-ending accident or crime, the consciousness pulls itself back just before the real experience, so that the human (body) doesn’t feel anything of it. I find that a very comforting thought.

I would love to hear Spirit’s perspective on this.

How do I continue living with my body when my soul has already died?
