Behind The Scenes

The other day, Berna and I were discussing several families we know with foster or adopted children.

The children, for reasons not always obvious, often face unusually daunting challenges. Sometimes as children, as adults, or both.

Why?

Spirit

It is often tempting for humans to judge others. In fact, judgement is one of the greatest weaknesses most humans have.

You have a saying that goes something like this:
“You can never know another person’s path until you have walked a mile in their shoes.”

And even if you do “walk a mile,” you still cannot know, because you are all unique and special children of the Divine.

As Johnny and Berna observed in the introduction to our post today, adopted or foster children often have greater life challenges than most of you with “normal” childhoods.

Those you consider “different” from “normal” humans are often your greatest teachers and guides. The challenges they face often equip them to better serve their sisters and brothers.

Why? Because they often have a greater and deeper understanding of what it means to be human. And that is particularly true in these times when your planet is undergoing the greatest transformation in human history.

You are all here now because, at your soul level, you chose to be. Why? To help your planet and all your fellow beings move through the darkness back into light from which you came.

So what’s our point here today?

Simply this: When you are tempted to criticize or judge another, don’t. You do not have that right.

You are all here for a purpose.

That purpose is to return to the home you never really left. Make it an easy journey. It does not have to be difficult.
