God Speaks by John Cali

Do you ever question your intuition, your inner guidance, especially when it doesn’t appear logical or follow the rules of common sense?

John Cali

Some time back Spirit and I did a personal reading for someone going through a hugely challenging time in his life. We ordinarily get people coming to us with tough questions and issues. But this one was far beyond the realm I would call “ordinary.”

The details are not important. But my reaction was. It was a wake-up call for me.

I’ve been channeling Spirit almost 15 years now. And I think I’ve gotten pretty good at it. But there are still times when I question the whole process. And I wonder if I’m making it all up.

Shortly before we did that reading, I said to myself, “I wonder what in the hell Spirit is going to say to this person.” I had no idea whatsoever.

Immediately Spirit “popped in” and chided me (gently), “It’s not your job to figure out what in the hell we’re going to say. It’s your job just to be the messenger.”

Spirit was simply repeating what they had said to me many times over the years — go with the flow. You don’t have to figure it all out in advance. You don’t have to be able to analyze or articulate it. Just do it!

God speaks to us all. For me, through Spirit. But also through a book, a movie, a friend, an animal. Or an angel. And always through our higher selves. Regardless of the messenger God uses, he/she speaks to us all, all the time.

Spirit told me something years ago I have never forgotten:

When you know, really know, in your heart and your gut God is with you always, and speaks to you always and in all ways, all you will hear is the sound of your own voice.

Here’s Spirit.

Spirit

Friends, you live in a world and in a time that often devalues the worth of the individual. You see this manifested in many ways. You need look no farther than the daily headlines of your mainstream news media.

But when you see this phenomenon expressed in such a shockingly tragic way as the events in Virginia two days ago, that really gets your attention. (Spirit is referring to the mass murders at the Virginia Tech campus in Blacksburg, Virginia, USA.)

Though it’s certainly a human tragedy of unimaginable proportions, it’s also a wake-up call for all of you on the planet today. As are all the other sad and tragic human events you see showcased in your news media nearly every day.

So what’s it all about?

Is the human race on a sure road to hell? Are you all lost? Is there no hope for you or your world?

The answer to all these questions is “No!” All is not lost. Although it sure seems like that at times, we know. But all is truly well, despite appearances.

When you listen to your own inner guidance, to your heart, such events cannot happen. They are impossible. But they do happen. Which means many of you are simply not paying attention to yourselves, to your inner guidance.

No one who is really tuned into his/her inner guidance, to the God/Goddess within, could ever do what that young man in Virginia did two days ago. It simply would not be possible.

Being in touch with yourselves — in other words, with the God within — puts you in a place of absolute joy and love. From that place of joy and love, it is not possible for you to reach out to others, to any living being, with anything but love and compassion.

You are all having “conversations with God,” as the title of a recent movie reads. Where you get lost often is you do not consciously know you are always having a conversation with God. But if you are listening to your heart, if you are always taking care to do only what feels good to you — in other words, if you are trusting yourself and your own wisdom and power — then you are listening to God speak.

God speaks to you through your own voice, always and in all ways.
