I’ll Meet You On The Far Shore

You never lose those you love. ~ Spirit

the far shore

Folks often ask my spirit guides about relationships. Arguably, relationships are the most challenging aspect of our human lives.

One constant in Spirit’s conversations with people, including me, is their reminder that we never lose those we love.

Spirit

You have all had many lives and many loves. Those you love in this lifetime have been with you in other lifetimes. Those lifetimes can be what you label “past” or “future.” In the spiritual realms there is no time, only the eternal now.

We’re aware of the challenge and difficulty you have with physical death. But there truly is no death because you go on forever. Yes, you come and go into and out of your various physical bodies. And those bodies appear to change as you move through linear time. But you—your true eternal self—are unchanging.

The next time you “lose” a loved one to physical death, remember you never change, you go on forever.

That loved one can be another human, a pet, any being you feel love for. All are truly one, no matter what form they may take in a physical lifetime.

Their true selves—their spirits—live on forever. They cannot die—you cannot die.

You always have access to those you love, be they “living” or “dead.” And you can just as easily communicate with those who are dead as with those still in physical form. The only thing preventing you from communicating with them is your belief you cannot.

They are always with you. They are always giving you signs they have not gone away.

You planned the relationships you have in your physical lifetimes before you became physical. Your spirits thought there might be some fun in playing around with each other in the physical.

And so you came together to do whatever you chose to do. Those partnerships, those relationships are forever. Even after one or both of you “die,” you still have a long way to go. You still have much to do together.

For you never lose those you love. You will all meet again on the far shore.

The Far Shore, by The Seekers, is one of  my favorite songs. If you were a music fan back in the 1960s you’ll remember this world-renowned Australian band who still get together now and then.

Thank you so much John. This reminder comes to me a at a crucial time of people who have left me and who are still here with me. Blessings

You’re most welcome, Ramón, I’m delighted this message was timely for you.

      Blessings to you too,
      John

I had someone in my life who hurt me and sadly hurt my son as well. That person past away some years ago and I sincerely expect not to find him in any future life. I still wonder what was the purpose of having that person in our lives.
    Blessings to you.

Thank you, Rose. There’s always a reason every person is in our lives. It’s not always obvious. And we certainly don’t have to put up with those who do not treat us well.

      Blessings to you too.

    Hello John,
I’ve known for a long time our beloved who left this earth plane are always with us and hear our prayers. A few who are very close to me appear in my dreams, many times with a special request, a message or an answer to a long lost question. A good example – My mother passed away last year (in her 95th year). Before she was laid to rest I made a special request that she watch over my two young grandchildren. Once in a great while she would appear in a dream, always in connection with one grandchild or the other, sometimes both. To me this is proof that her spirit is always with my family.
Best wishes for a blessed beginning of summer,
    Joanne

      Hi Joanne,

Thanks very much for your comments. That’s a beautiful story of your mother. I too have loved ones who appear to me in dreams. That seems to be an easy way for them to connect with their loved ones still on earth. We truly do not lose those we love, ever.

You have a blessed beginning of summer too!

I’ve been feeling our mutual friend Conshana around me….He actually opened up our screen door last night! There was no other explanation for it…

His name has been popping up all over the place for me also. Think he may want to talk? I haven’t done so for a while now…

The song is beautiful BTW! Yes….I’ll be seeing those I have loved on the far shore….no good byes, only so long for now.

    • John Cali

I’ve been feeling his presence too the last few days. You probably remember he said, shortly after he “died,” he didn’t go anywhere. And, yes, he does want to talk with you right now.

I love that song. As you said, there are no goodbyes, only so long for now.
