This is a true story. You might call it a Christmas story. But we’ve changed the names, identities, and other details to protect the privacy of the people involved.
One winter morning long ago, Ann sent a strange email to her close friend Joan. Joan’s Uncle Joe, who’d passed over years earlier, had visited Ann the night before.
Joan’s brother Tony was on a work assignment in a war zone on the other side of the world. Recently, there had been a surge in the violence and bloodshed there.
Joe told Ann he’d been watching over Tony.
The next night Joe visited Joan. He reassured her Tony was safe and well, and would be returning home soon.
Then Joe showed Joan a vision of the specific area where Tony was assigned. He also showed her what he called his “Legion of Light.” They appeared to be soldiers from the ancient Roman Empire.
Then Joe said, “This is not protection, Joan. It is light–a light which no dark or negative energy can penetrate.”
A couple weeks later, Tony was safely back home and reunited with his family, just in time for Christmas.
Spirit
You are all surrounded by light–the light, as Johnny’s story says, “…which no dark or negative energy can penetrate.”
Most of you are not aware of this. You may get brief glimpses of it now and then. But that’s it.
You’ve heard us and others say you are never alone. That’s true. Why, then, do so many on the earth plane feel abandoned, lost, and alone?
The reason is they have created, in one way or another, an illusion–an illusion of life on earth.
You believe in darkness and evil. So you perceive only darkness and evil. Is the darkness real? Is the evil real?
No!
As A Course in Miracles says, “Perception is a mirror, not a fact.”
When you can recognize illusions, when you can know you are never alone, you are always in Spirit’s care, you are always loved–then you will see the light that surrounds you always.
The darkness will vanish from your sight. It was never real to begin with. You will feel safe. You will feel loved. Because you are safe, you are loved.
You are never alone. We always walk beside you.

Hi John! I have a combination of abilities, but I tend to receive downloads.. blocks of information that tell a story. That knowing feeling, as Hans said. But these past few months, I’ve had more help and guidance from my Spirit family, than ever before. I don’t know what I’d do without them! In my recent experience, the spirits are more “active” than ever. I think it’s because our world is in the midst of a huge transformation. It’s difficult probably for most, but empowering for those “higher up the spiritual ladder.”
