Materializing, Dematerializing, and Other Illusions by John Cali

I’ve always been fascinated by this subject. But I didn’t really believe it was possible. That is, until I saw it happen right before my eyes.

One day many years ago I was leaving my office to go home. I went to my car, reached in my pocket for my car key. It wasn’t there. I looked in the driver’s side window, and there was my key, still in the ignition. Since I locked all the doors, I had a problem.

I looked all around at the ground to see if there was anything I could use to pry open the door — nothing. So I went back to the driver’s door, wondering what I was going to do. This was in the days before cell phones, and there was no one else around I could ask to help.

As I stood there berating myself for being so careless, I looked down at the ground. There, underneath my foot, was a wire coat hanger. I was standing on the thing, but it had not been there a few minutes before. I picked it up and was able to open the car door. I still have that coat hanger as a memento of my minor miracle.

Where did that coat hanger come from? Was it an illusion?

Here’s Spirit.

Spirit

Your world — your reality — is not an illusion. Unless you define “illusion” as something other than what it appears to be. Your world is real. It’s your perception of separation from your world, and from each other, that is the real illusion.

You are not separate. All is one. Therefore, you live in a much more open-ended world, a much more open-ended reality than you imagine.

When you see your world as we do, you will understand what we mean by “open-ended.” It appears to you, from your “normal” way of viewing your world, that things either exist or they don’t exist.

But it’s not that simple.

Everything that has ever existed, everything that does exist, everything that will ever exist — all these exist now. It is only your human minds and their perceptions that separate your world into past, present, and future. It’s only your minds that see yourselves as separate from each other and from your world, from the universe.

You are not in the world, you are not in the universe. The world and the universe are in you. Therefore, there is no separation.

When you get beyond this separation mentality, as John did momentarily when he was locked out of his car, then whatever you need can come to you easily and effortlessly — and even instantaneously.

It may seem like a “minor miracle,” to use his words. But all it really is is acknowledging who you truly are. You do not “acquire” your manifestations. You simply acknowledge they have been there all along, and have never been separate from you. Then they appear because you have vibrationally tuned into them.

It had been probably less that 2 years since since my 20-year-old son transitioned. There was a certain audiotape that I listened to so much in my car that finally it jammed and I could not free the tape from the player heads.

My state of mind was such that I just left the cassette hanging by the tape from the front of the player.

About a week later, as I got into the car to go to work, I noticed that the cassette was sitting on the passenger seat, with the tape neatly rewound.

No one else ever used my car. I ran back in the house and asked family members if they had “fixed” the jammed tape, but no one had.

“HE” (my son) had done it. That was over 20 years ago, and I am as sure of it now as I was then.

    One of several “unusual” manifestations…..

One day I was searching for my garden sprayer which I had removed and set down somewhere…later…I just couldn’t find it. I spent hours looking for it and wondering. Well…all of a sudden I looked by the back door which I had passed through several times, had not even seen it…and there it was! ; )

I had a very strange experience with dematerialization and materialization.

I owned a small step stool that I had purchased from a dollar store. I used it to reach shelves in the closets. It usually stayed in a certain closet or just outside it, but occasionally was left in one of the others.

One day, I needed to use it and I could not find it. I checked all of the closets and any other place I might have used it. It was gone. I had been storing it under one pedal of an exercise machine just outside the closet door and that was where I had last left it. I knew it should be there, and I knew that my husband never used it and probably was not even aware that I had it.

I spent days and days looking for it. I even stood by the exercise machine, pointed at the place where it should be and mumbled to myself, “It’s supposed to be right there.” After a few weeks, I decided I would just go buy a new one. For some reason, just before I left to go to the store, I went back to the exercise machine and looked there. There it was, under the pedal, completely visible.

I guess you know, I had some choice words for that step stool. I told it if it ever pulled a stunt like that again, it had better stay away, because if it came back, I would throw it out and buy another one. It has, ever since, stayed where it is put.

Frequently, I can’t find things, and have to search for them. Usually, I find them someplace other than where they are usually kept because I used them and didn’t put them back. Sometimes I cannot find them anywhere. I have learned to go back to where they are supposed to be and occasionally, they are there, when they definitely were not when I looked a few minutes ago. It made me feel like I was a complete ding-a-ling.

Some things have gone missing and I have never found them. I have decided that physical things are just not that permanent and occasionally just vanish. Maybe George Carlin was right, there is a big pile out there somewhere of all the stuff that has gone missing.

I’ve had an interesting experience along those lines. My mother passed over in 1993 and when she did I took 5 angel pins in the form of costume jewelry from her jewelry box.. We both had had those pins at one time. I would wear one of her pins on my shoulder and if someone commented about the angel on my shoulder, I would tell the story of my mother and I both wearing those pins. I would pass it along as a gift from my mother. One day I noticed that the 5th pin was missing from my shoulder and I know I had put it on that day when I left for work. Somehow I had lost it but knew it was helping somewhere . I didn’t feel real bad because my mother left me many treasures. A few weeks later I went to my jewelry box and found another angel pin like the ones I had previously given away. This has gone on for 19 years anow. As a new pin materalizes, I wear it and when anyone mentions it, I pass it along and know another one will be materializing again in the right time.

how funny & wonderful! i was just thinking about this very thing on my way to work this morning! Thank you for the beautiful synchronicity! There is a wonderful children’s story about the little boy who, if you looked into his mouth, you could see the entire universe! That is each of us everyday. Thank you so much John for all your wisdom-sharing! Blessings! :>)di

There have been times I would be looking for something, all over the place and can’t find it. Then after I have looked and looked and looked, I say to myself I know it’s here and where do I find it exactly where I looked the first time. It was there all the time I just didn’t allow myself to see it.

Some people assume there are empty spaces between everything we see but I think that space is filled and it is only we who decide they want something out of that seeming empty space. It’s like words in a sentence……….the blank spaces between the words hold other words that can fill in when we need them.

When my son misplaces something I tell him let it go and you will find it right where you looked before……and he does.

    love and hugs
    Jeannie

I LOVE your example of ‘instant manifestation’ …
Your story reminds me of the saying:
    EXPECT everyday miracles …
and at this point in my life, I absolutely DO …
    Thanks … Stephanie
