As a society, we have a deep dread of old age. But is that justified? Or is it even real?
Our scientists tell us all the cells in our bodies are renewed every 7 years. That means the oldest we can be is 7 years.
But, for most humans, that is not their experience. Many folks, instead, suffer from dementia or Alzheimer’s disease. Or other illnesses.
Above, I quoted the Masters of the Far East. Here is another thought-provoking quotation from those wise teachers (who, by the way, still walk among us):
“There is no death!…The life of the body is the Spirit that created it, and when through ignorance the body is completely dominated by false concepts about life, the body has lost all its true sustaining power, and, therefore, can no longer function. This is what is called death.”
Here are a few thoughts from Spirit.
Spirit
Many of the masters Johnny talks about in this post have lived hundreds, even thousands, of your earth years. And they still walk among you. But you do not recognize most of them.
Eternal life is real. In fact, you have no choice—you live eternally. But you can chose how you live.
You can live a life of pain and suffering. Or you can live a long and happy life.
It is entirely possible for you to live happy and healthy lives in your physical bodies for centuries.
Whether you would want to or not is another matter.

Who can define old age? Our journey simply is OUR journey. We all know there was a beginning (a LONG time ago) and there will be an end of this human body at some time. When? When our journey is completed.
Don’t worry about it. Just take each day as it comes. No reason to be fearful if you know it is going to happen some day. Live in the NOW. It is actually all we have no matter what our age.

I’m 70 now but I am still me. I’m not an age, I’m me. I am not a stereo type or what doctors think, I am me. I have always been me, I will always be me. I’m more than the parts you see and more than the thoughts I have. I change, I arrange my thoughts and my life each day and I am new, reborn , Me. I am the past, the present and the future and still I feel Me. I am what was, what is and what will be, eternally Me. I have many faces, many states, many Beings inside yet they and I are Me, we are One and Eternal 🙂
