The Hidden Power of Inner Peace

One day a while ago, I was walking through the Rochester, New York airport on my way to catch a flight. Nearly everyone around me was rushing about, stressed out and none too happy. A typical airport scene in today’s hurried and harried world.

I happen to love flying, and find airports fun—and, strange as it sounds, peaceful—places.

Making my way through the crowd, I spied a tall grey-haired man walking toward me. I did not know him, but there was something almost familiar about him.

He was calm and walking unhurriedly. We passed within a couple feet of each other. A wave of energy washed over me. It was powerful, yet peaceful and calming. He obviously carried deep inner peace.

I continued walking to my flight. I never saw that man again, and have no idea who he was. But his energy stayed with me that entire day. I’ll never forget him.

“Remember that as a being of peace, you make a huge impact on those around you. It’s almost impossible to be totally stressed out in the presence of someone who has opted to be peace.” ~ Wayne Dyer

Spirit

We have often reminded you of how powerful you are—far more than many of you have ever imagined.

It does not matter what you think about yourself or about others. There are some things beyond your control—things you cannot change.

One of those things is the power you carry in the depths of your being. It is beyond your control to change because that is the way God made you. What God has made—and only what God has made—is unchangeable and real. All else is illusion.

Every once in a while, or maybe more often depending on your level of awareness, you get a glimpse of that inner power, that deep sense of peace.

That is the peace of God. That is the peace, as your Bible says, that surpasses all understanding.

It would benefit you greatly if you acknowledged your inner power and peace. It is always there. It is who you are.

Once you acknowledge it and consciously nurture it every day you will, as you say, become a force to be reckoned with. You will become the beacon of light you came to this planet to be. That is your purpose. That is why you are here.

Once you have acknowledged and begin to nurture that peace and power in the depths of your being, it will, so to speak, rise to the surface. This will have several effects.

First, you will find your life becoming more and more effortless. You will move through your days—and, yes, even through your challenges—with effortless ease.

Second, those around you will be powerfully and positively affected. They won’t necessarily know what’s happening. But they will feel your energy, your vibration of peace and power. Just as Johnny felt the energy of that man at the airport.

You’ll find people being drawn to you. Animals will gravitate to you. That is the power of inner peace.

You do not need to say anything. You do not need to do anything. Just being who you are is enough.

Your power of inner peace is the power that is transforming your world, everyone around you, so they too will see the light. So they too will become the light.

And so it is.

Hi John. What a great reminder of the peace that we seek! When Spirit mentioned animals responding to your energy, I was reminded that babies, too, pick up on it. When they react positively to you, it’s a sure sign that your energy is good.

Thanks very much, Tom! I agree — babies are very sensitive to energy too. And they also remember who they are, whereas most adults have forgotten.

Thank you, John. That inner peace is nice and feels good, like warm water in a bath tub. Ahhhh – haha.

Hey John, that tall, grey-haired man at the airport was me. I’m sorry you didn’t recognize me; or not. Happy Spring!

If that was you, George, you must have been wearing a disguise. I’d never forget what you look like. πŸ™‚ Happy Spring to you too!
