The Secret to Living Your Life with Effortless Ease

posted in: Articles, Blog | 9

Many people are struggling with their lives, often daily. Are you one of them?

My spirit guides have often said our highest and best authority is our own inner guidance, our intuition. It will never lead us astray. We can trust it completely.

Most of us know that. Yet, when faced with challenges and choices, we are often lost and struggling, not knowing which way to turn.

That’s because there are so few influences in our modern world encouraging self-reliance, self-trust and, most importantly, self-love.

Spirit

Your lives were not meant to be a struggle. You’ve probably heard us, and others, say that before. But it always bears repeating.

If you are struggling with anything, big or small, it’s a sure sign you haven’t been listening to your intuition—you have not been tuned in to your spirit.

When you are listening and tuned in, your life becomes easier and more joyful. Your birthright is to live a life of effortless ease. That does not mean a life without challenges, which are only opportunities for growth.

Before you incarnated your spirit (or soul, if you prefer) was excited to be venturing into this world of density, diversity, and duality. After all, there might be some fun there, a chance to hook up with some of your soul family to once again explore the excitement of being in physical form.

Many of you have forgotten all that amidst, as John said, the forces in your society that work against self-reliance, self-trust, and self-love. Especially self-love.

We urge you to do all within your power to love and nurture yourselves in any way possible. Ignore those who say you are being “selfish.” Selfish is good. You cannot give what you do not have. If you do not fill yourselves up with love you will have none to give others.

You are divine beings of light. You deserve to be happy and abundant. You deserve to be loved, especially by yourselves.

Tell yourselves, at least once a day, “(your name), I love you.” Look in a mirror while saying it.

It sounds so simple, but it’s a powerful exercise.

Every problem or challenge you face can be resolved by reminding yourselves to love yourselves. If your whole planet did that you could create the peace you all seek—the peace within yourselves and the peace within all people.

Allow yourselves to love and be loved. Most of all, love yourselves unconditionally. That is the secret to living your life with effortless ease.

This may seem silly, but I thought I would share this. Not too long ago, when I would be at work, I would start singing. Just bits and pieces of songs I’ve liked over the years. I would change the words and in every single one, well, I would sing about how much I loved myself. I didn’t care what others thought of me, and I did hear many comments. I kept on singing them.
That particular period of my life was, to me, a most wonderful part of my life. Oh the adventures I had. I stopped doing it and, well, I struggled with life. Just recently, maybe about 6 months ago, I’ve started singing again. Oh how I’ve missed it!
It isn’t always easy to love ones self. Especially if you listen to others. It amazes me how people react to my singing. Some actually sing with me, while others can get down right angry with me. This is where being selfish comes in. I keep singing no matter what. I’m not singing for them. I’m singing for me. I like to sing. I love to sing, and I do love myself.
May the leaves of the forest shade you all. Damian.

Thanks very much, Damian. You set a great example for us — we should all be singing!

“Every problem or challenge you face can be resolved by reminding yourselves to love yourselves” Mass consciousness has been so brainwashed by the powers of misperceptions that the simple switch which is required to love our selves unconditionally, and then by extension all others, has proved to be almost impossible for centruies. We have let the thought that self love is egotistic, when in reality it is the reason we need to continue returning to the earthly physical experience to finally move beyond this one all controlling misperception. We are god = we are love, period. All else is an illusion. Loving one’s self is the recognition of who we really are. So beautifully simple, yet made complex beyond comprehension. Our life is all about finding what misperceptions we hold so that we can clear that filter so that our inner light has an easier time in shinning through for all to see. IT IS ALL ABOUT SELF.
    Love, allow and keep smiling

In addition to your gentle sense of humor, your wisdom, your connectivity to spirit, one of the things I truly love about you is your generosity. Thanks so much for sharing other channels’ offerings. I never would have heard of Melody Fletcher had it not been for you. Thank you for a whole lot of things, John.

For some presently unknown reason I’m especially missing Stuart Wilde tonight. I’m hoping he enjoys a good rest and returns to give ’em hell again soon.

Thanks so much, Pat, for your most kind words. Stuart has been one of my favorite teachers for many years. I only just learned of his death. I’m sure he will be missed by many of us.
