The Veil Between God and Humans by John Cali

Divine Light by Andrew Kudrin

One of our readers recently asked me this question:

In all the work that you do with Spirit, are you aware of a sense of the consciousness, itself, being the veil between God and man?”

Here’s my reply:

My own personal experience is that consciousness itself is the link, the common ground between God and us. After all, we are God.

“The only difference between God and us, or between spirit guides and us, is that we have temporary human bodies.

“So there is no “veil” — the veil is simply our perception (or, more accurately, our mis-perception). We all, human and spirit, are part of this universal consciousness.”

And here are some of Spirit’s thoughts.

Spirit

The “veil” between you and God is an illusion. There is no veil. Death is an illusion. There is no death.

All there is is life, consciousness. Your spirit guides and angels are pure consciousness. You are pure consciousness. You are all one.

You perceive separation only when you get too caught up in physical reality. Your physical experiences are real, but they are a small and temporary part of your greater reality.

Your greater reality is the reality, the wholeness, the full consciousness you will return to when you leave your physical bodies.

Then you will understand there is no veil between you and God. There never was. You were never alone, never lost. God has been with you forever. Because you are God.

We walk a fine line of wanting to be and not wanting to be the God of our heart. It is a step that at once brings one joy and yet fear for we know not what we Are. We are afraid that this human sigh, this human heart will be overcome and lost. Yet we know this is not so but like I said we walk a fine line of wanting and fear of accomplishing that desire. A tear comes to my eyes for I know I am home yet a fear of being judged makes me pause. Not of what I’ve done but what I haven’t done. Part of me believes I have failed in some important way yet there is a part that swallows that fear and pours out a star so bright, a rainbow so filled with music and color. I know that my fear is released, transformed from the dark dread , heavy feeling to light and music, to love and no, in life we learn, never failing for each strand of thought conceals within itself a release, an answer to our deepest question.

We are the thin line we walk and we stop walking we float within the energy that is eternal. When we quiet our fear, our thought, our notions, we sense something more . That something more leads us to who we always have been. We get glimpses now and then and we learn to listen, to wait, to be patient and to love who we are right now. We are becoming whole.

    love and hugs

Thanks very much, Jeannie, for your soulful sharing. Your words remind me of something Anita Moorjani said in her book, “Dying To Be Me,” about her near-death experience:

“Right now, I feel that I’m home. I have no desire to be anywhere else. It makes no difference to me now whether I’m here or in the other realm. It’s all just different parts of the experience of our greater, expanded, infinite, magnificent self. Our real home is within each of us and follows us wherever we go.”

      Love & hugs,
      John

Sometimes Instead of saying “Oh My God !” I will say “Oh Me God !!” It changes my whole perspective on things. LOL Another message to self is Good God, You are God, start acting like One….LOL It does help me stay in focus, and it makes me laugh, because nothing is that serious….

Thank you, Pam. I love the way you’ve rephrased those old sayings. I can see how that would change our whole perspective. As you said, nothing is serious. And as my spirit guides always say, “Life is supposed to be fun.” 🙂

Thanks, John!!! And, yes, I have had a problem owning my Divinity — it still seems to waiver.
With the help of many inspiring teachers, including you, it becomes easier. I would like to offer this quote from Mooji that I came across the other day…

“We are recovering divine beings re-discovering our divinity, snatching back our identity from the insane mind, but the mind is very much a key player in the drama called life, because without it, the consciousness cannot experience transcendence. And transcendence is the whole purpose of the game. It is a kingly game when seen with eyes of understanding.
If you stay stuck in personhood, life will kick your ass.
But if you are open to Truth then you expand into greater and greater seeing.
Finally, you will say: I love this climbing over myself; this walking through myself.”
    ~ Mooji

    Love and blessings,
    Susan

That is an awesome video, John! Thanks for linking to it!

I have found it to be quite a journey to bring the fact of God from the outside to the inside. I had to do a lot of mind work, first, and then start proving it to myself that I accept what I am is ALL THAT IS. Studying the world of subatomic particles really helped because basically, no thing is there, only intent of spirit manifesting at a lower frequency fills what appears to be empty space, to have experiences that are not possible in the state of oneness.

The state of duality, others acting as mirrors, appearance of separation, etc:, allows for an infinite variety of experience for the I AM, which is us.

    Many blessings to all,
    Jerry

      You’re most welcome, Jerry!

Most of us were never taught that God was within us, even though Jesus is quoted in the Bible as saying “The kingdom of God is within you.” When I used to mention that to family and friends, the usual response was, “Well, he did not mean that literally.” 🙂
