What personal data we collect and why we collect it

We collect only the domain name, but not the email address of visitors to our website. We collect the email addresses of those who communicate with us via email. And we collect information volunteered by the consumer, such as survey information and/or site registrations.

The information we collect is used for internal review and also for notifying consumers about updates to our website. This information is never shared with other organizations for commercial purposes, or any other purposes.

We do not knowingly collect information from, or sell to, children under the age of 13.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on this site, we collect the data shown in the comments, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string, to help with spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a “hash”) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using that service. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here:
https://automattic.com/privacy/

After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public, but only in the context of your comment.

If you upload images to this website, you should not upload location data (EXIF GPS). The reason for that is visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
