Man did not weave the web of life. He is merely a strand in it. Whatever he does to the web, he does to himself. ~ Chief Seattle

As most of you probably know, this past week we celebrated Earth Day on April 22. That’s the anniversary of the 1970 founding of our modern environmental movement. The movement sprung from the efforts of United States Senator Gaylord Nelson of Wisconsin.
Spirit
Your Mother Earth is a living, breathing entity, just as your physical bodies are. And she has a soul, or spirit, just as all humans do. She is a soul, a spirit, as you are. Therefore, she deserves to be loved, respected, and honored.
While we know many of you, the lightworkers, are sad and in despair over the havoc humanity has wrought upon your beloved mother, there is hope.
As we have said many times, there is no such thing as an incurable illness. Your bodies are perfectly capable of healing themselves—if you allow them to.
That’s the caveat—you must allow the healing. You don’t need us to remind you of the ways you can and do interfere with that healing.
All we have just said applies to your Mother Earth also. She is able to heal herself. She is, in fact, doing that at this moment, in every way she knows. Many of your so-called “natural” disasters are due to Mother Earth’s efforts to heal herself.
The obstacle to her healing is humans and their disrespect for, and exploiting of, Earth’s natural resources.
Now we know many of you are working with Mother Earth in helping her to heal. And she will heal, just as all of you will. It may not seem that way right now. But it will happen.
Much of the chaos and confusion in your world today is a clear sign that the “forces of darkness” are losing. But not without a fight. Darkness is not even a reality. It’s only the absence of light. Once you acknowledge and allow the light in all that is, you and Mother Earth will be healed.

Thank you, John, for sharing such a moving post for Earth’s Day. When it looks so hopeless and I feel helpless on what’s going on this Earth, I’m encouraged by Spirit’s words.

Moving video depicting Mother Earth, loved the parts about she’s alive and beautiful….the finite part was very sad indeed.
