Just Being

A few days ago, we had a conversation about “just being” as we sat enjoying the view of our garden.

That conversation led us to a deeper question for Spirit: What does it truly mean to “just be”?

Spirit:
To just be is to rest in the truth of who you are — beyond all the layers of who you think you are.

It is the stillness beneath the noise, the light behind the masks. It is your natural state.

When you live through the lens of your thoughts — your ideas about life, reality, or even yourself — the mind takes over. And more often than not, it doesn’t uplift you. The mind revisits the past or projects into the future.

It recalls memories that stir joy or pain, or resurrects feelings like anger, regret, jealousy, or fear. It spins stories about what may come — hopes, worries, expectations.

But none of that is here. Not now.Just being is not thinking. It is full presence. It is now.

Of course, the mind can serve — it helps you notice the elegance of a flower, the rhythm of a bird’s wings, the wonder of this world. But when the mind is still, the heart awakens.

In the silence beyond thought, you begin to truly connect —
With Reality.
With Love.
With Light.
With the infinite Self that you already are.

Because you are Light.
You are Love.
You are Presence itself.

So, just be with that.
Rest in who you truly are.
And from that place —
Live.
