Oneness Is an Impossible Dream

In this time of dramatic change all around the planet, it’s easy to lose sight of some basic facts of life:

  • We’re all in this together. We always have been.
  • There is no us versus them. There is only oneness. “Them” is “us.”
  • There are no boundaries except those we’ve created while laboring under the grand illusion we’re all separate.

All men were made by the Great Spirit Chief. They are all brothers. ~ Chief Joseph, Nez Perce Tribe

But doesn’t everything I just said above contradict the title of this post, Oneness Is an Impossible Dream? Here’s Spirit.

Spirit

Oneness really is an impossible dream. Why? Because a dream is an illusion. All dreams are illusions, and eventually you always wake up from them.

Then you realize you were only dreaming. Only your waking state is reality. Oneness is your reality. It’s an impossible dream because you have already achieved it. It’s a fact. It’s your reality.

Reality is  not a dream, and can never be a dream. So oneness truly is an impossible dream—something you can never achieve in the future because it already exists in the now. But you have not been aware of that. You have been asleep. Now you are waking up.

You—each and every one of you—are the same as all the spiritual teachers you may admire: Jeshua, Buddha, the Dalai Lama, Pope Francis, Deepak Chopra, and so on. You are the same as all other humans, all animals, all that is. You are the same as God. You are all one.

Separation is an illusion. There is no separation. There is only oneness. It’s your lack of awareness that you are all one that makes oneness seem like an impossible dream.

Your whole reason for being here now is to remember who you are. And in that remembering, you will help all others to remember who they are. And to remember there is only oneness.

Another good one, John. I am especially cheered to see my buddy, Chief Joseph, “I will fight no more forever,” quoted. Re: oneness, I’ve even got a Facebook user copying my comment: “I’m from Mars.” at an entry that asks, “Tell where you are from.”

Thanks very much, George. I love that quotation from Chief Joseph — it’s one of my favorites. I see your sense of humor is as great as ever! 🙂

Thank you dear friend John. Also, enjoy Arbor Day on the 28th.

Yes. Yes. It is all experientially true. Reflecting on my synchronicities is where I actually realize that we are all part of Oneness. Are Oneness. In synchronicities I get to see the working connections of Us as One. I love that science is now backing this up.

Thank you, Margaret. I agree with you — it’s great that science is now validating what we’ve known all along.
