The Power of Self-Love

I have no political convictions nor any interest in politics. However, one politician I’ve long admired is former US President Jimmy Carter.

President Carter once said, “…I’ve become convinced that the things that matter most are the things that you can’t see—the love you share with others, your inner purpose, your comfort with who you are. (emphasis added)

Spirit

The main problem with your modern world is love—that is, the lack of it. Especially the lack of self-love.

We realize most, if not all, of you were never really taught the truth about love.

The first thing many humans think of when they hear the word “love” is romantic love. Romantic love has become distorted and twisted in your modern world. It barely resembles real love. It is part of the problem, not the solution.

True love is the solution to all that ails your modern world and practically every society in your world. True love is the answer to every problem you face today—whether it be personal, family, or worldwide.

You have lost your ability to love truly. Yet you can easily regain that ability.

It begins with self-love. If you love yourself truly, unconditionally, you will resolve every issue you have in your personal life. And the more of you who practice pure self-love, the closer you will come to the world peace you say you want.

Self-love is the answer. That is the power of self-love.

Perhaps we shall discuss this further another day.

Could not agree more with this post! We are designed to be Loving beings. Loving is a skill and an ability that, just like any other, can easily be learned, developed and enhanced. Loving is the real-life superpower of human beings! This is what our world needs.
