Many folks, perhaps including you, are suffering financially because of the coronavirus. Some have lost their jobs, their life savings, nearly all their financial support. This includes some among our friends and families.
These times are among the most challenging and heartbreaking many have experienced in this entire lifetime.
Let’s begin with what money really is. It is not little strips of paper or metal pieces, especially so-called “precious metals.”
These things are valuable only because humans consider them valuable. Otherwise they are valueless.
God is all that is, everything that exists. That includes money. Money and financial abundance are part of God.
They are not, as many have said over the years, “the root of all evil.” God is not evil. Therefore, money is not evil. Money is spiritual.
Having said all that, however, we realize you need money, or its equivalent, to continue living your physical lives.
What this current global crisis has perhaps made clear to many is you do not need as much as you believe you do. Your lives, by necessity, have become simpler and less extravagant.
Many humans are “addicted” to shopping for stuff they neither need nor want. That is truly, as you say, “a waste of money.”
Abundance does not include fancy cars, big houses, huge bank accounts, etc. etc. You may consider those desirable, and there is nothing inherently wrong with them.
Where you go astray is when you make these the gods of your life, and your only path to peace and happiness. True abundance lies within you. You’ll find it nowhere else.
If you can tap into those inner resources, you will find love, peace, and joy. These are true abundance. They are what you have been searching for all your lives.
When you feel and live the love, peace, and joy within, you will know you are safe, you are taken care of, you are loved.
Then, with that powerful perspective, you will find all the abundance you need. Even in these challenging times, know God takes care of His/Her children.
