Do You Know How To Heal Yourself? by John Cali

As you can probably guess, healing is a subject that comes up often in my and my spirit guides’ conversations with folks.

I almost never get sick, but the past week or so I’ve had what I guess was a severe cold. I was pretty miserable most of that time, and I’m still recovering.

The experience got me to thinking about the many times my spirit guides have talked about healing—and how our bodies know how to heal themselves (if we stay out of their way). Maybe, I thought, I needed to go back and review what we’ve written over the years.

So I did.

Since I didn’t get much work done while I was sick, this week we’re reviewing one of the healing articles we wrote a while back. I hope you find it helpful, as I did.

You can read it here.

Great lecture by Caroline Myss:Why People Don’t Heal & How They Can.

She explains why we store particular issues in certain areas of our bodies. Such as financial issues in our lower back and hips etc.

Thanks very much, Barbara, for the video — it’s certainly a timely and vital issue that many are dealing with.

Hope you are feeling much better now, John. Plenty of honey and hot lemon!!
I liked the healing article, especially spirits’ perspective. I truly believe that all illness comes from an emotional or thought disturbance at some level, as was discussed last week by Barbara. So by becoming more aware of the emotional block and releasing it, we can trigger our healing. I totally agree that drugs, healers, doctors all have their place but until the root of the cause, emotionally or mentally, is addressed then even if the problem is ‘cured’ or relieved then it will remerge in some way or another.

Thanks very much, Sarah! I am much better.

I agree with you. Abraham has said (as have my spirit guides) that all illness or disease is vibrational, and rooted in our negative emotions.
