posticon Love and Religion

Many years ago, I had a startling experience with love and religion.

Still a teenager, I’d joined the US Navy. (Military service was required in those days.) Stationed far from my New York home, I was lonely and homesick, as were my shipmates. Simon (not his real name), my closest friend on the ship, was also from New York.

We were docked in San Diego, California at the time. Simon and I took a weekend off to explore San Diego. We “accidentally” came across a hospitality house owned by a Protestant church.Read more

For those of you thinking we misspelled our title above, bear with us. (Of course, if you’re British, there’s no misspelling.)

Spirit

If you could see into your future, what would you see? For yourself? For your world?

In Ted’s message, he asks an intriguing question: Is ancient wisdom important for us today?

Ted Murray

With the new energy and light that are flowing into the planet, are the ancient ways of spirituality still relevant for us? In many ways, the relevance of traditional religions and even old spiritual traditions are no longer necessary.Read more

Treasure your relationships, not your possessions. ~ Anthony J. DiAngelo, The College Blue Book

reconnection-remembrance-relationships

Is there someone in your life you have, perhaps, forgotten? Is there some precious memory you have released and want to reclaim? Maybe now’s the time to remember, reclaim and reconnect.

Spirit gave me this message early one dark and cold, snowy morning earlier this week. It’s one of their shortest ever.

This moment on your planet may seem the worst of all times. But, actually, it’s the best of all times.Read more
