One of the most challenging and yet rewarding parts of our human lives is relationships. None of us need reminders of that—it’s all too obvious.
But what is the true purpose of relationships? In my opinion, relationships are marvelous opportunities to express who we truly are—they are always, with no exceptions, great vehicles for personal and spiritual growth.
Here are some of Spirit’s thoughts:
- All relationships have at least two different perspectives because you are all unique.
- One key to successful relationships is allowing the differences without being threatened by them.
- Remember, there is no right, no wrong in relationships.
- One of the most damaging things you can do to your relationships is needing to always be right.
- Relationships, like everything else, are continually changing. You need to accept that and, as you say, “go with the flow.”
- It’s important to regularly reevaluate your relationships—there will always be “course corrections,” or adjustments,you will need to make.
- It’s critical that you always communicate openly and honestly, especially with those you are in close relationships with.
- Some relationships will not last a lifetime. Let that be okay, and you will find much peace.
- The end of any relationship is a new beginning—always.
- Always live in the present moment. Then you will be of immense benefit to yourself and your relationships.
- Your most important relationship is with yourself.
- Always be true to yourself. Always be yourself.
- Love yourself unconditionally, and your relationships with blossom and grow.
