We struggle with the complexities and avoid the simplicities. ~ Norman Vincent Peale

Have you ever felt stuck, struggling to make it from one day to the next—or even one moment to the next?
My spirit guides and I talk to lots of folks who live that way. I have the greatest compassion for them, especially since I felt horribly stuck for much of my younger life.
Here are some words from Spirit.
Suffering and struggle are not necessarily bad things to experience if they serve to remind you it doesn’t have to be that way. You are free to choose pain and misery or joy and peace. You have free will.
Life is supposed to be fun. It’s supposed to feel good. The only purpose of suffering and struggle is to remind you that you don’t have to live that way.
Life is good. Seek and find the good and the joy in all your experiences, whether you see those experiences as painful or not. The good and the joy are always there.
You have a choice here. You can grow through joy or through suffering and struggle. Either way works. But your spirit will not walk into your suffering and struggle with you. It will walk into your joy with you.
The purpose of suffering and struggle is to remind you life can be free of suffering and struggle. Not free of challenges. But you have the power to transform your challenges into joy. Use that power out of love for yourself.
As you focus on the positive aspects of your experiences, life will become easy and effortless. You will move through the years carefree and happy. You will give up the suffering and struggle, and find peace, even—especially—in the face of your challenges.
Your life will get better and simpler. You will discover all is well—all has always been well.
