As 2018 draws to a close, I thought we’d review some of the year’s most uplifting blog posts. These are not necessarily the ones getting the most traffic, but those you, our readers, told me you found most uplifting.
Have you ever met a friendly stranger, only to later realize that person simply did not exist? I did, about a year ago. We all probably have such experiences, sometimes without being aware of them.
“The reason most of you do not hear the angels, or experience them, is not because you don’t believe in them. It’s because you let the noise and the noisiness of your world drown out the voices from heaven….”
“Think about a person you dislike, or who you believe dislikes you. In your dislike, or perhaps something even stronger, are you really seeing them as they are? Most likely not.”
Here’s what Buddha has to say about silence:
“Silence is an empty space. Space is the home of the awakened mind.”
“When you are being yourself, you will realize you are all one—you embrace your oneness. And you celebrate your diversity.”
According to the Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA), nearly 40 million adults in the United States, suffer from anxiety and depression.
