A Funny Ghost Story by John Cali and Spirit

The artist alone sees spirits. But after he has told of their appearing to him, everybody sees them. ~ Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

I’m getting ready to return home from this past Thanksgiving week. So this is a short post, perhaps the shortest we’ve ever done.

You may remember a post we did last year, Farewell To Caesar, about the death of Caesar, a cat in my family.

Since he died Caesar has come to me quite a few times. But never like he did a couple weeks ago.

I’d been thinking about him one night before I went to bed. Later that night I suddenly woke up for no apparent reason. Then I heard a loud “Meow!” seemingly inches from my right ear. It startled me till I realized it was Caesar paying me another visit.

I said to him, “Caesar, you’re supposed to be dead. Why did you startle me like that?”

Then my spirit guides “popped in.” With their wry sense of humor, they said “We’re as dead as you can get. Yet we still bug the hell out of you.”

In this video Abraham, channelled by Esther Hicks, gives us a delightful explanation of how and why we sense (or do not sense) ghosts, or spirits of the “dead.”

This is great, John. Sometimes my late cat ‘Jippy’ seems to lie down against my leg, as he was want to do when alive. He never ever startles me though.

    Wish jou well,

    Hans

Hahaha I love cats! And I love that they keep their bossy boots ways even after making their transition. I also loved hearing Jerry’s voice again! What a wonderful human being he was. Thanks John

Thanks, Sarah. Caesar taught me to love cats. Before he came along I wasn’t much of a cat fan. Jerry sure was a great guy!

A few years ago, as I was waking from my night’s sleep, I heard, “Call Bob Hunt (a friend) now.” I thought that was weird as it would have been unusual for me to call him at that time that day. Then I heard the same thing again so I called him. No one home. I called the hospital where he would likely be if needed. He was there without visitors; supposedly for a short time for a quick procedure by his Dr. There seemed to be no need for me to visit him but having heard that voice, I did. Good thing I did. His Dr. got to his room hours late. He could not eat or drink anything so I arranged to have him hydrated by tube. I kept checking on the arrival of the Dr. He finally arrived, put Bob to sleep, did the procedure, and left the hospital except that I got his report that the procedure was successful and I stayed until Bob awoke to give him the good news.

Thanks very much, George, for sharing your wonderful story. It pays to listen to that inner voice!
