We received many articulate and thoughtful responses to last week’s newsletter. By far, most of your responses agreed with Spirit. However, there were several which did not.

Those who disagreed with Spirit said, to heal themselves, they needed to delve into their past pain, even back to childhood.

I never tell people how old I am, even if they ask. I used to, but no more. Now my answer is, “I’m ageless.” It’s not because I’m embarrassed or self-conscious about the number of years this body of mine has been on the planet. I’m not. (And it’s been a lot of years!)

As I was walking home this morning from my daily jog, I started thinking about the various religious celebrations marking this week: Passover (today), Good Friday, and Easter Sunday.

I grew up in a large Italian, Roman Catholic family. For us, this week was a time of religious celebrations, solemn and joyous.

I’m sort of a connoisseur of bumper stickers. They give you some fascinating insights into human nature. Not to mention the nature of the vehicle owner!

Just six days ago I saw a sticker that really got my attention, mostly because of what’s going on in Iraq these days. Here’s what the sticker said:

Last week a long-time friend and I agreed to end a years-long business relationship. I’d seen it coming and, to be honest, I wanted it to end. Our business relationship was putting a huge strain on our personal friendship. Nonetheless, it was still a surprise to me if only because of the suddenness of it all.

My son John and I have a close bond, and I feel we’re soul mates. We’re both single and somewhat “footloose and fancy-free.” Since we live near each other, we get together regularly.

He was over for dinner the other night. As usual, our conversation occasionally drifted to reminiscences of our rather colorful Sicilian immigrant family.

I recently received a long letter from a good friend. She was experiencing some health challenges, and had a few questions for Spirit and me.

In her letter, Sarah (not her real name) said she had in the past “cured myself” of the particular condition she was now experiencing again. In fact, her healing was almost instantaneous.

There are few subjects which “raise your hackles” more than creating your own reality. At least that’s been our experience over an extended period of observing you.

If you acknowledge you create your own reality, then you must accept full responsibility for all that’s ever happened in your life.

On the other hand, if you deny you create your own reality, then you are thereby making yourself a victim (at least in regard to your unpleasant life experiences).
