Spirit often talks about the self-healing powers of our bodies. Yet we sometimes question and doubt those powers. Or we interfere with them, though not normally by deliberate intent.
An article I recently read talked about our bodies’ amazing abilities, not only to heal themselves, but also to regenerate themselves. Research is ongoing. Many years ago Spirit gave me their definition of love, and it’s the definition I’ve stayed with ever since: “Love is a choice to see the divinity in all beings.”

The past few days I’ve been feeling jittery. You know – nervous, unable to concentrate, scattered thoughts, etc. This is totally out of character for me. I’m normally calm, focused, and peaceful. So it came a most unpleasant surprise.

Today, September 21, is the International Day of Peace, also called World Peace Day.
It all began in 1981 when the United Nations General Assembly declared its opening session, the third Tuesday in September, as International Day of Peace. Since then we’ve celebrated every September 21 as World Peace Day.

I am not a sports fan, and never have been. One of the reasons is sports, at least in the USA, are far too competitive to suit my taste. This is a time when our planet needs desperately to be replacing competition with cooperation.

Many years ago I was a commercial pilot and flight instructor. In our company we used small single-engine Piper aircraft to train students. One of the most challenging lessons for students (including me when I was a student) was spin control.

I was born and raised in the Roman Catholic Church. I practiced my religion faithfully for many years. Then I began to “lose the faith” — literally. I became disillusioned with what I perceived to be a judgemental, controlling, closed society, almost a cult. So I left.

Dr. Bernie Siegel tells a wonderful story about his marriage. Years ago he fell off his roof, hitting his head on the pavement. He developed amnesia from the injury. He said the amnesia dramatically improved his marriage with his wife Bobbie. But when his memory returned, he sought marriage counseling.
