Did you hear the world is ending tomorrow?

So says religious broadcaster Harold Camping. That’s a bit ahead of the schedule predicted by Hollywood and other “authorities.” They say it will be December 21, 2012.

I always get a chuckle when I hear these doom-and-gloom, end-of-the-world scenarios.

The Washington Post had a couple good articles on this today, here and here.
