The Magical Critters of Wyoming by John Cali, Barbara Clark, and Spirit

Wyoming Deer

Today Barbara Clark and one of my spirit guides talk about her experiences with the wild creatures of Wyoming.

If you’ve been with us a while, you know my spirit guides are fond of talking about animals—particularly about what great teachers and healers they are for us humans.

Barbara was here in Wyoming in summer 2012. In this video discussion, recorded after she returned to Scotland, she talks to my guide to get his perspective on the magical critters of Wyoming.… Read more

Are You Spinning Out of Control? by John Cali

by John Cali | posted in: Articles, Blog, health and well-being, inspiration, John Cali, life purpose, manifesting, mind body soul, positive thinking, relationships, self-help, spirituality | 3

Many years ago I had a dear friend, now long gone, whose life was a near-constant struggle. He struggled with virtually everything and everyone, including himself. He once described his life to me, shortly before his untimely death, as “reeling from one crisis to another.” That was a pretty accurate description.

It’s not surprising that he lived out most his years that way, because he was one of these people who just had to be in control of everything and everyone.… Read more

Do You Follow a Path of No Regrets? by John Cali

by John Cali | posted in: Blog, channeling, health and well-being, inspiration, John Cali, life purpose, mind body soul, relationships, spirituality | 18

This blog post is a bit unusual—it’s a personal story I’ve never fully shared publicly. But I felt guided to share it with you today.

As most of you know, two days ago Pope Benedict XVI stepped down as leader of the Vatican and the Roman Catholic Church. His February 9 resignation announcement took many by surprise, within and outside the church.

I’ve closely followed the news about Benedict since that day—that’s uncharacteristic of me, as I pay scant attention to the mainstream news.… Read more

Do You Struggle With Self-Love? by John Cali

by John Cali | posted in: Articles, Blog, healing, health and well-being, inspiration, John Cali, life purpose, manifesting, mind body soul, positive thinking, relationships, self-help, spirituality | 22

Recently someone close to me was doing her best to convince me it was impossible for her to love herself as much as she loved others.

And even if she wanted to do that, it would be morally wrong. Her spiritual beliefs had convinced her of that. In plain language, it would be a sin for her to ever put herself before others.

Unfortunately, this lady is not alone in her struggles.

This week we’re revisiting an article we wrote a while back.… Read more

Heal Your Relationship with Money by John Cali

by John Cali | posted in: Blog, channeling, healing, health and well-being, inspiration, John Cali, manifesting, positive thinking, relationships, self-help, spirituality | 12

One of the most common topics we talk about with folks in personal readings is money. How do I get it? How do I keep it? How do I get more of it?

In my experience of working with Spirit over the years, I’ve seen money as one of the most daunting challenges so many people face.

Barbara Clark has just released a powerful money program that is so simple and yet so effective. I think anyone wanting more money, or a healthier relationship with money, will love what Barbara is offering.… Read more

How Are Healing Miracles Possible? by John Cali

by John Cali | posted in: Articles, Blog, healing, health and well-being, inspiration, John Cali, life purpose, manifesting, mind body soul, positive thinking, self-help, spirituality | 9

A good friend, Elsa Santos, emailed us to ask how healing miracles are possible. Elsa was responding to one of our posts, How Can We Help Others Heal?

Following are her questions. (We’ve abbreviated her email to keep this post reasonably short. We may address her other questions another time.)

Here’s Elsa’s email:

Dear John,

Thank you so much, first of all, for all the beautiful work you do with Spirit!

I´m both a healer and a translator, and I’ve had the honor and absolute privilege of translating and subtitling Tuning In in Portuguese.… Read more

The Zen of Living in Today’s World: 15 Ways to Find Peace in the Midst of Chaos by John Cali

by John Cali | posted in: Blog, channeling, healing, health and well-being, inspiration, John Cali, law of attraction, life purpose, manifesting, mind body soul | 15

Meditate. Every day if possible. It keeps you aligned with Spirit.

Always be good to yourself. You deserve it.

Look for the best in all people and all experiences. It’s always there, but you have to be willing to see it.

Never judge or criticize another. You see in them only a reflection of yourself.

Avoid those who complain constantly. Their energy is too negative for you.

Spend time regularly in nature. It will soothe and heal you.

Know the universe is abundant.

How To Attract Your Soul Mate by John Cali

by John Cali | posted in: Blog, channeling, health and well-being, inspiration, John Cali, law of attraction, manifesting, mind body soul, relationships, self-help, spirituality | 8

One of the most common issues people bring to us in personal readings is romantic relationships—an appropriate subject for today, Valentine’s Day.

People usually ask us how to find a romantic relationship, and then how to handle it after they’ve got “the tiger by the tail.”

Here are some thoughts from Spirit:

If you wish to attract your perfect lover, you must first become your own perfect lover. The law of attraction says like attracts like. You have many ways of expressing that—the rich get richer, the better it gets the better it gets, birds of a feather flock together, etc.… Read more

What Is the Purpose of Animal Suffering and Death? by John Cali

by John Cali | posted in: Articles, Blog, healing, health and well-being, inspiration, John Cali, life and death, life purpose, mind body soul, relationships, self-help, spirituality | 22

We received quite a few comments on two of our recent articles, The Power of Animals and The Power of Animals, Part 2.

Pat, one of our readers, left the following comments and questions. With her permission I’m including them here:

John – first of all I wanted to say I just watched and enjoyed your participation in the May 2012 YouTube version of the documentary Spirit Channelers in America. The information is truly enlightening and sychronistic with my personal growth right now.… Read more

Until Death Do Us Part by John Cali

by John Cali | posted in: Blog, channeling, inspiration, John Cali, life and death, mind body soul, relationships | 13

In our last two blog posts, The Power of Animals and The Power of Animals, Part 2, we talked about the relationships between animals and humans. This week we’re talking about another incredible animal, this one a dog named Shep.

I’m having a very busy week, as I’m away from home. So actually we’re just revisiting Shep in an article we wrote a few years ago, Forever Faithful.

I know some of you have read the article before, and some have not.… Read more

The Power of Animals, Part 2 by John Cali

by John Cali | posted in: Blog, channeling, health and well-being, inspiration, John Cali, mind body soul, positive thinking, relationships, self-help, spirituality | 10

In our last blog post, The Power of Animals, Spirit talked about animals as our teachers. Here is another touching animal story, this one about a delightful little dog who loves everyone.

I was shopping recently in a local store. Just after I arrived, one of the young ladies who works there came in with her dog. Life is pretty informal here in this little Wyoming town. As in Europe, people don’t mind if you bring your dog into a store.… Read more

One of the biggest issues folks want to talk about, especially in personal readings with my spirit guides, is relationships—particularly romantic relationships. As we all know, even the closest, most loving relationships have their challenges, their ups and downs.

Here is a perspective on romantic relationships from one of my spirit guides:

Remember what you felt at the outset: the passion, the pleasure, the sheer joy of being in each other’s physical presence.… Read more

Do You Ever Take Inventory of Your Life? by John Cali

by John Cali | posted in: Articles, Blog, health and well-being, inspiration, John Cali, life purpose, manifesting, mind body soul, relationships, self-help, spirituality | 4

The Greek philosopher Socrates said “The unexamined life is not worth living.”

That’s a pretty stark statement. But it makes sense to me. My spirit guides often advise folks, including me, to take regular inventory of our lives. The idea is to evaluate where we are in relation to our goals, aspirations, and dreams for ourselves and the path we are following.

In our view, it’s important for all of you to pause and take time out from your busy—and often stressful—lives.… Read more

The Present Moment Is Your Key to Happiness by John Cali

by John Cali | posted in: Blog, channeling, healing, health and well-being, inspiration, John Cali, life purpose, mind body soul, positive thinking, relationships, self-help, spirituality | 12

We humans waste so much of our lives squandering our precious present moments with fear, doubt, and worry.

Here are two of my favorite quotations:

“I am an old man and have known a great many troubles, but most of them never happened.” ~ Legendary American writer, Mark Twain

“The living moment is everything.” ~ English writer and poet D.H. Lawrence

It took me many years before I realized the benefits of living in the moment, and a few more years learning how to do it.… Read more

Present-Moment Awareness: How To Get It and Why You Need It by John Cali

by John Cali | posted in: Blog, channeling, healing, health and well-being, inspiration, John Cali, life purpose, mind body soul, self-help, spirituality | 10

Being fully present in each moment of your lives is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself, and others. Your presence is truly a gift.

We realize your modern world can be a very distracting place. All the more reason to practice presence — full presence in every moment of your waking awareness. Obviously you are physically present in all your waking and sleeping moments. But how often is your mind, your focus off somewhere else?

All you really have is the present moment.… Read more

Time and Forgetfulness by John Cali

by John Cali | posted in: Articles, Blog, inspiration, John Cali, life purpose, mind body soul, self-help, spirituality | 10

Often, when I’m channeling my spirit guides, I lose all sense of time.

One of the people we gave a reading to recently said something similar. She asked one of my spirit guides why she forgets their conversations when she and he talk.

Here’s their conversation (with her permission):

Questioner:

Why do I forget when we talk? I don’t forget when I talk to physical human beings. Why do I almost instantly forget what you’ve told me?

Spirit guide:

It’s very common and the reason is that we are speaking to you from a place where linear time does not exist.… Read more

Is Oneness Possible? By John Cali

by John Cali | posted in: Blog, channeling, health and well-being, inspiration, John Cali, life purpose, mind body soul, positive thinking, relationships, self-help, spirituality | 21

In one of our last posts, The Web of Life and Our Global Community, we talked about the oneness of humanity. We’re taking that idea a step farther today.

In the Tuning In movie my spirit guides said God is all that is—literally everything that exists, human and non-human, is God. That, obviously, includes plants, animals, oceans, mountains, etc.

As we said in the above article, “We’re gaining a greater awareness of what our spiritual teachers and guides have been telling us forever—we are all connected.… Read more

The Web of Life and Our Global Community by John Cali

We hear much today about our worldwide global community. With all the wonders our modern communication technologies have brought us, every part of our planet is only a heartbeat away from every other part.

We’re gaining a greater awareness of what our spiritual teachers and guides have been telling us forever—we are all connected. We are one, in every way.

This new year has started out with a big surge in my workload. So today we’re revisiting an article we wrote a while back, A Sense of Community.… Read more

Why Not Be Happy For No Reason? By John Cali

by John Cali | posted in: Blog, channeling, health and well-being, inspiration, John Cali, life purpose, mind body soul, positive thinking, self-help | 14

Whenever my spirit guides or I tell folks our natural state is to be happy, we usually get some strange responses—and even some angry arguments.

Some of the usual arguments go like this:

How can I be happy in a world that’s falling apart?

How can I be happy when my loved ones are not happy?

How can I be happy when I have no money?

How can happiness be our natural state? That doesn’t make sense.

And so on and on.… Read more

Are You Letting Your Past Define Who You Are Now? By John Cali

by John Cali | posted in: Blog, channeling, healing, health and well-being, inspiration, John Cali, life and death, life purpose, mind body soul, positive thinking, self-help, spirituality | 16

How often do you define yourself by your past—by who you were10 years ago or 10 lifetimes ago?

When I was younger I had no identity except for how I remembered myself in the past. And yet none of us are the same now as we were 10 years ago, 10 lifetimes ago—or even 10 minutes ago.

Here are some of Spirit’s thoughts:

You can live your lives only one moment at a time.

You drain all the pleasure and joy from your present moments by polluting them with guilt from past deeds done and worry about future deeds undone.

Another New Beginning By John Cali

by John Cali | posted in: Articles, Blog, health and well-being, inspiration, John Cali, life purpose, manifesting, mind body soul, positive thinking, self-help, spirituality | 12

Here we are at the beginning of another new year. What’s so special about New Year’s Day? Well, probably not much.

My spirit guides, as many of you know, don’t generally predict the future. But they did say recently 2013 would be a much easier year for those on a conscious path of spiritual growth.

Here is exactly what they said (to my partner Barbara):
“For those of you who have been working diligently on yourselves, 2013 will be a year of peace and joy.”… Read more

Merry Christmas! Bah, Humbug! By John Cali

by John Cali | posted in: Articles, Blog, health and well-being, inspiration, John Cali, life purpose, manifesting, mind body soul, positive thinking, spirituality | 31

One of my all-time favorite movies is “A Christmas Carol,” based on Charles Dickens’ novel of the same name.

As you probably recall, in the book and movie Scrooge showed his disgust for Christmas with the words “Bah, humbug!” He believed Christmas was just an excuse to spend money you didn’t have and to waste precious time in revelry and fun. Certainly a cynical view of what is for many is a joyful celebration, and a time for putting aside our differences and being just a bit kinder to our fellow humans—and to all creatures.… Read more

Is Peace on Earth An Impossible Dream? Followup John Cali

We received a variety of insightful comments in response to our newsletter article earlier this week, Is Peace on Earth an Impossible Dream?

So, as a followup, I’d like to share with you a few additional thoughts. (This post is longer than our usual short ones, which I know you and I prefer. But I think the subject merits it today.)

First, here’s a brief message I received from my spirit guides:

“There will never be the peace on earth many of you envision.… Read more

Is Peace on Earth An Impossible Dream? John Cali

by John Cali | posted in: Articles, Blog, healing, inspiration, John Cali, life and death, manifesting, mind body soul, positive thinking, relationships, spirituality | 27

Our thoughts turn to peace on earth every year at this holiday season. That’s particularly appropriate this year, as we’re preoccupied not only with conflicts around the world, but also with the all-too-frequent and vicious violence in the United States.

As you all know, 27 adults and children died in a bloodbath at a school in Connecticut last week. Then the gunman killed himself, bringing the death toll to 28.

Here are a few of Spirit’s thoughts about all this:

You have somehow been convinced there is not enough room for all of you on your planet.

Do You Have a Hard Time Loving Yourself? John Cali

by John Cali | posted in: Blog, channeling, health and well-being, inspiration, John Cali, mind body soul, positive thinking, relationships, self-help, Uncategorized | 5

As we move deeper into the holiday season, I see more and more folks getting stressed and overwhelmed. That’s not what Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, Boxing Day, etc. are all about. They’re about celebrating the season, one another, and ourselves.

Yet many folks put themselves at the end of their long holiday lists. They don’t take time to slow down and enjoy the season. In short, they have a hard time loving themselves in their frantic rush to get everything done.

Does that sound like you?… Read more
